    The Oversized Coat

This post is purely to communicate the importance for a good coat/jacket.
Over the past year this is something that has really helped me feel more stylish, by investing in key shapes and colour trends my outfits are instantly more striking.

Make up inspired by Charlotte Tilbury Valentines Look

Today I felt inspired to do my make up thanks to the Charlotte Tilbury 'The hot date look' that I stumbled upon on my morning scroll of Instagram.

I have heard a lot about the beauty brand from bloggers, however I am yet to purchase any of their products.
So today I simply attempted to re create the look using my current collection of make up.

I loved the luminosity of this look with the peachy pink lip and cheek - very girly and romantic! It was very simple and easy to achieve, the colours were easy to match with products I already own; sometimes just seeing a look inspires you to use make up that you have been neglecting and mix up your look!

Stan The Man - Adidas Stan Smith Trainers

I am loving my Adidas Stan Smith trainers at the moment, I am aware that they are not a groundbreaking trend and they are becoming more and more killed and basic. That is why it has taken me so long to get some, but I waited and waited and still wanted some, then I spotted the limited edition nude version and knew I had to have them!

    Mongolian Dreams

Today in the south east of England we woke up to snow!
This meant that wrapping up warm was a must.

I love the trend of pastel colours in winter.
I have always struggled more with styling in the winter months,  and this year I really understood the advantages of good coats/jackets. So investing in key colours and silhouettes has helped me a lot.

I have wanted a baby pink coat since I fell in love with one in Zara at the beginning of the season, when I was shopping in Primark with my friend a few weeks after I found this one for £25. I was very happy about this as it is SO similar and SO much cheaper! (I love it when that happens)

This mongolian ombre scarf is so beautiful, I got it from the boutique I work in The Dressing Room, and it's by a small brand design called Nooki.
As soon as I saw it,  I just knew it would come home with me - its perfect!

    Thanks for reading!

    Sunday Sass

    Sunday Sass

Whenever I don't know what to wear and nothings going right (you know those mornings where you try on everything you own and create a floordrobe of fashion only to declare you have no clothes!! Or maybe thats just me) my go to style is always black with a touch of Kate.

You can never go wrong dressing like Kate moss or Kendall Jenner.

    Fresh Inspo

My style is constantly evolving. That is what I love about fashion, one day I can feel sporty the next I want to be a goth and the next I'm a sassy rainbow. My options are endless and choice is what makes styling so fun.

At the moment my style has taken a turn and I just can't get enough white in my wardrobe, I love mixing white with a palette of black and grey, at this time of year its all about layering.

Whats your fave trend/style inspo at the moment?

    Leather & Tartan

Today's look was based around comfort. As women we need days where we can put on a stylish outfit but still feel comfortable!  Skinny jeans are one of my daily garments that i swear by, but on my days off i love to mix it up and wear various alternatives. These are faux leather jogging bottoms from Topshop, they are so comfy and because they have a leather coating, they look dressy and stylish… perfect! I like to style them with my Nike trainers and a tartan long length shirt to add some colour and pattern.

I tried a new make up look going for a dark brown Lipstick and brown eyeliner.
Beauty Tip : I also went over my natural freckles with the brown eye pencil to make my skin appear more natural.

    Stylish and comfortable?  TICK
